AFC West teams are the Denver Broncos, the San Diego Chargers, the Kansas City Chiefs and the Oakland Raiders. Recently San Diego has romped this divsion with a high octane offense lead by Ladanian Tomlinson, Philip Rivers and Antonio Gates. Denver has had a legend in the past at quarterback, with John Elway, and have a bright young one in Jay Cutler. They have one of the best wide receivers up and coming in Brandon Marshall. They have one of the best fan bases in the NFL and it is one of the toughest places to win at in the league. Kansas City has perhaps the best tight end ever to suit up in Tony Gonzalez. Some people forget that Joe Montana finished his career here and lead them back to the playoffs. Arrowhead Stadium is perhaps the craziest place to play because the fans really get behind their team and make it difficult to hear the play calling for the other team. Oakland has such a storied tradition of winning however they have struggled recently. They go through more coaches than women do pocketbooks.(5 coaches in 7 years). When they play their rival Kansas City it is always a bloodfest to see how many players leave missing teeth and eyebrows. This is surely the grittiest division in football. I would say they have the rowdiest fans in all of football but they always stand up for their team.
