Tim Tebow decided not to test the NFL waters and instead return for his senior season at Florida. He can possibly win three national championships in four college years, should the Florida Gators win the title again next year.
The 6-foot-3, 240-pound southpaw was 18 for 30 passing for 231 yards, with 2 touchdowns and 2 uncharacteristic interceptions in last Thursday night's 24-14 victory against the Oklahoma Sooners. This year, Tebow completed 64 percent of his passes for 2,746 yards with 30 td`s and 4 interceptions. He also led the team in rushing for the 2nd consecutive year, amassing 673 yards and scoring twelve touchdowns.
As he started to exit the stage Sunday of 40,000, he said, "Oh, by the way, let's do it again. I'm coming back." He is hoping to lead the Gators to an undefeated record and a 4th overall national title. Since coming to Florida , he has won a Heisman, and won 2 national championships. With another season of him coming back, Florida will be the heavy favorite to win it again. This years team only had 3 seniors in the starting lineup of their title game against the Sooners. Imagine what this team, at least on paper will look like next year!
