Ohio State`s Beanie Wells to enter NFL Draft
Ohio State star running back Chris "Beanie" Wells, has decided to forgo his senior year and enter the NFL draft in April. He was a 2nd-team All-Big Ten selection this college season and he ranks 4th on Ohio State's career rushing list with 3,382 career yards. "I want to thank my teammates, my coaches, my teachers and the academic advisors for all they have done, and I definitely want to thank the Buckeye fans for all their support, Wells added in a speech for Buckeye fans. Ohio State has become like a family to me, and it will always be that way. But in the best interest of my family, it's time to move on and take a chance at fulfilling my lifetime dream of playing in the NFL."
He some monster games in his career that included 412 rushing yards and 4 touchdowns in 3 career games against Ohio State's hated rival Michigan. The 6-1, 237-pounder ranks 6th right now nationally in rushing average at 119.7 yards per game after finishing 11th last season.
