They will present their proposal to ensure that it will make the NFL`S ownership rules happy. This will allow the Rooney`s  5 sons to keep control of the Steelers if approved. They will also have to show the league`s finance committee their plan and get approval from 24 of 32 owners.

The Pittsburgh Steelers founding owner Art Rooney left control of the team to his 5 sons. Another part of the Steelers is owned by the McGinley family of Pittsburgh. Their share owned is 20 percent. It is good to see the Rooney sons making an effort to keep the Steelers in the family! Their father would be very proud of them. I know that the city of Pittsburgh is. Pittsburgh has had so many great players and great moments in the NFL over the years.
