This yearSee full size images Heisman hopeful Colt McCoy, said yesterday that he will return to Texas for his senior season,  rather than enter into the NFL draft this year.  McCoy said in a statement that "I`m not going anywhere". After he filed papers with the NFL advisory committee to college underclassmen, he decided it was best to come back fir his senior year.

He said that one of many reasons he decided to return was because of the solid coaching staff at Texas. He told the Sporting News that "I`ve been blessed to be able to play here." This will easily give the Longhorns stability at quarterback next year for coach Mack Brown and the Texas Longhorn staff! He also said coming back will make him strive even harder to win a national championship at Texas. After finishing third in the BCS Standings to the Florida Gators and the Oklahoma Sooners, Texas and Colt will look forward to their Bowl game. Their chances just got better with McCoy coming back.
