The tandem finished with a combined total of 130 rushing yards. Williams lead the way with 21 carries for 72 yards and a whopping 4 touchdowns! Jake Delhomme had a decent game, making plays when it counted most. He finished the game 12-17 for 177 passing yards with 1 rushing touchdown. He hooked up with star Steve Smith who had some of the greatest catches I have ever seen! Smith finished the game with 4 catches for 105 yards.

The Panthers got the scoring started with a DeAngelo Williams touchdown of 1 yard with 8:33 in the first quarter, to make it a 7-0 Panther lead. Later, Williams would have another 1 yard touchdown run to make the score 21-10 Carolina at the half.

Green Bay would come storming back in the second half, led by Aaron Rodgers. He finished the game 29-45 for 298 yards passing with 3 touchdowns. He put the Packers up 28-21 with a 21-yard touchdown pass to Gregg Jennings. Carolina would tie it up with another Williams 1-yard touchdown run, to make it 28-28 with little time left. Mason Crosby would put Green Bay up 31-28 with a field goal,  with 1:57 left to play.  After a Mark Jones 45-yard kickoff return,  Jake Delhomme would hook-up with Syeve Smith for a 54-yard gain, on an unbelievable catch! DeAngelo Williams would seal the deal with his fourth 1-yard run, to put Carolina up 35-31 for good!

It was the first time since the AFL NFL merger in 1970 that a player had 4 one-yard  runs for touchdowns. Carolina now stands tied for first with Tampa Bay at 9-3 in the NFC South. Green Bay dropped to 5-7 on the season and all but eliminated themselves from playoff contention.
