Who is better Moss or Owens?
Who do you think is the better NFL receiver, Terrell Owens or Randy Moss? While both are explosive and two of the best, a lot of their career stats and this years stats are very similar. Moss stars in New England with Tom Brady and Owens stars in Dallas with Tony Romo.
Randy Moss has been in the NFL for 11 years. He has almost 13,000 career receiving yards with 132 touchdowns. He has 8-1000 yard receiving seasons in his career with Minnesota, Oakland and of course New England. At 6`3 -218 lbs, I think Moss is definitely quicker and makes more acrobatic one-handed catches than anyone I have ever seen! This year, he already has 54 catches for 740 yards and 8 touchdowns. His best season was last year when he set an NFL record with 23 touchdowns to go with 1,493 yards and 98 receptions. That gives him 828 receptions for his career! Absolutely amazing.
Terrell Owens has over 13,000 yards receiving for his career with 136 touchdowns and 929 lifetime catches. At 6`3-218 lbs. of pure muscle, Owens may not be as fast as Moss but he is definitely tougher to bring down because he is so strong and a great blocker. His career year was with San Francisco in 2001, when he had 93 catches for 1,412 yards good for 16 touchdowns. This year his stats are--47 catches for 718 yards and 7 touchdowns. Very similar to Moss in comparison. Whoever you think is better Moss or Owens, one thing is for sure. They both will be in Canton, Ohio one day as two of the greatest receivers of all-time!
