What can be said of a 7-2 winning season of the Carolina Panthers. First off Jake Delhomme is without a doubt fully recovered from his injury that put him out of last season regular play.

Secondly Steve Smith is active and in very good health this season. Steve Smith has played seven games this season out of ten that the Carolina Panthers have played, reason is he was suspended for two games this season for fighting with a fellow Panther. Steve is not doing as well as he nor the Panthers had hoped for the 2008 season he has 622 receiving yd's thus far and only four td's. Compared to his season last year Steve Smith had 1,002 receiving and seven td's.

Third was the return of another good receiver Muhsin Muhammad, Muhsin started out as a Panther in1996 and stayed there until 2005. In 2005 Muhsin would become a Chicago Bear and remain there until 2008. In '08 Mushin has played in nine games with 545 receiving yd's and three td's. Compared to his last season as a Bear Muhsin had 570 receiving yd's and three td's.

In conclusion Jake Delhomme maybe fully recovered and doing well with the Panthers sitting on top of their division of the NFC south, Smith and Muhammad being the dominant receivers, but this is only week ten and still have six more games to play. If you're a Panther fan or not this display of excellence is hard to dismiss.  By no means are any of the other teams in the NFC south a joke. They all have great players and have played hard thus far this season.
