Tampa Bay making case for playoff push
Well, what can be said about the NFC South 's Tampa Bay Buccaneers? First, they are the number two team in their division and only one game behind the Carolina Panthers which are leading the division thus far.....
The Buccaneers have a lot of well known players, and it is no wonder why they are the second in their division!!! Starting off with their QB Jeff Garcia, who is in his tenth year as a pro football player. His stats are impressive. Jeff has thrown 24,443 yards in his career and an amazing 154 touchdowns. Jeff is also thirty eight year's old and his Q.B.- rating is still at ninety-one percent.
No team would be complete without an excellent kicker. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are no exception!!!
Matt Bryant is in his eighth year as a kicker, his last three has been with Tampa Bay. Matt has only missed one game since he has been the kicker for the Buccaneers and that was his first year with them. Matt has attempted one-hundred and eight field goals in his career with Tampa Bay. Matt has completed ninety of those attempts with an impressive ninety-two percent kicker rating, which led the Buccaneers to their victory over the Viking's Sunday.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have many other well known players with impressive stats as well, such as Michael Clayton who has played his entire pro career with Tampa Bay. Michael has caught one-hundred and ninety-four passes and for 2,511 yards with eight of those ending in touchdowns. Alex Smith who is Tampa Bay's tight end, has also played with Tampa Bay his whole career. Alex has played in 53 games, and has started forty of those games,with 1,230 yards receiving and eleven touchdowns.
