Oakland Raids Denver

photo credit: allaboutgeorge Who would have thought that a team that was 1-8 with a losing record coming into a game with the Broncos, would ever have a chance to win? JaMarcus Russell (QB) for Oakland, has started and played sparingly this season, and has only 1,445 passing yards and six TD'S.
Not very impressive, but today alone he now has one hundred and fifty - two more yards to add to his stats' with another TD. Russell went 10/11 for Oakland whose wins have been few and far in between. Justin Fargas(RB) had twenty carries for 107 yards. Sebastian Janikowski made one field goal and went four of four for extra points, which helped lead Oakland to their 31-10 win over the Broncos.
The Denver Broncos are still sitting pretty on top of their division, but what an insult to be beat by a team having such a horrific season. Jay Cutler for the Broncos had a terrible evening. He went 16/37 on pass attempts and only passed for 204 yards total, without throwing a single passing TD.
The Denver Broncos maybe on top of their division now, but many more games like today and they won't be. Jay Cutler is an excellent (QB) and anyone can have an off day and let's hope for his and the Broncos sake that is all it was.
