The New Orleans Saints are my favorite underdog team. The Saints may be dead last in their division, but should not be looked at as if they are the least. With a record of  five and five,  the Saints are last in the NFC south division, and that is kind of surprising that they are last, knowing who some of their players are. The Saints have many well known players on their roster such as Reggie Bush (RB), Marques Colston (WR), Devery Henderson, Robert Meachum and Lance Moore all wide receivers. Plus, Pierre Thomas, and Deuce McAllister as Backup (RB'S).  Also, who could forget Jeremy Shockey(TE), and without any doubt, the Saints main man Drew Brees(QB).

The reason why the Saints are having such a horrific year is simple. Marques Colston(WR) was out with a thumb injury since week one of regular season play, returning week seven. Along with Jeremy Shockey(TE) who had been out since week four with a sports hernia. Also in week seven, was their horrible loss to the Carolina Panthers (30 -7). To make it even worse, they lost their (RB) Reggie Bush due to injuring the meniscus in his left knee, which in return would have Bush sidelined for at least four weeks.
The Saints proved they were no joke after coming off a horrific lose to the Carolina Panthers. They not only won the game against the Chargers, which is Brees old team, but they also won in London, England. Brees had thrown for three-hundred and thirty-nine yards, with forty-one attempted passes and thirty completed passes, to go with three touchdowns. Lance Moore also played his heart out with six receptions for ninety yards.
The Saints have many highly rated players and would most likely be doing much better if they had had all their key players. Regardless of these facts, the Saints are doing well and should not be over looked as a threat. As we all know anything can happen, so be on the look out for the Saints!!!
