Cleveland`s Brady Quinn out for year

photo credit: zoonabar The Cleveland Browns have lost their starting quarterback Brady Quinn for the season, due to a broken finger. He suffered it in a game against the Buffalo Bills on November 17th in Buffalo. He admitted that he shouldn`t have played this past Sunday against the Houston Texans, because he suffered further tendon damage and was benched in the 3rd quarter by Coach Romeo Crennel.
He said he thought about wearing a finger splint like Dallas quarterback Tony Romo, but he said he felt like he should just shut it down for the year. Derek Anderson, who lost his starting job to Quinn 3 weeks ago, will start against the Colts and Peyton Manning in this Sunday`s game.
Quinn finishes the year 45-89 with 518 yards passing and 2 touchdowns plus 2 picks. The 6`3 235 pounder out of Notre Dame, also ends the NFL season with a quarterback rating of 66.6, not to bad for someone who watched Anderson start every game last NFL season.
