Have you ever heard the saying"lightning in a bottle" to describe how fast someone is?  Well Minnesota Viking running back Adrian Peterson must be the result, when you take the top off of the bottle. He breaks through tackles every Sunday like punching styrofoam. Thanks to his 192-yard rushing performance in a win Sunday against Green Bay, he and his Vikings now sit in first place with the Chicago Bears in the NFC North division. This was Petersons`s 4th straight game of at least 100 yards rushing.

 

He now has 1,015 rushing yards to lead the NFL. He is on pace to shatter his production of 1,341 yards he rushed for as a rookie last year. The 6`1- 217 pound back out of Oklahoma watched players like JaMarcus Russell, Calvin Johnson, and Gaines Adams get drafted, before Minnesota gladly selected him on draft day. How many teams would probably exchange their prior pick and future pick for him now?  I know that if I would want to start a franchise around a running back it would be Adrian Peterson!!!!
