Vince Young and the restless
Tennessee quarterback Vince Young has returned to practice this week, after recovering from a sprained left knee. The only problem is you have a 35 year old quarterback who has your team off to its best start in franchise history, while filling in for you. Young, the #3 overall pick in 2006 NFL draft out of Texas, has had issues this year on and off the field. From his mother calling the Nashville Police Department saying she couldn`t find him, to him not telling the team where he was, when he was out of harms way at a friends house watching Monday night football.
Since Kerry Collins has taken over the Tennessee Titans offense, it has seem to be run more efficient with Collins throwing only one interception to go along with a very tough Titan defense. Collins passer rating is 81.3 which is better than Young's first two seasons as a Titan. Tennessee Titan coach Jeff Fisher said he won`t make a decision about the status of Vince Young until Sunday, and that he will either be the #2 or #3 backup. In my opinion, I would leave things the way they are because chemistry is so important in sports, especially in professional football.
